Ian Irving McMillan (1905-1991) was a San Luis Obispo County rancher and environmental activist. He studied the decline of the condors in the 1960s and published research to increase public and federal awareness. McMillan also campaigned against the Diablo Canyon nuclear power plant and worked with other local environmentalists to establish the Santa Lucia Wilderness Area and to preserve Morro Rock in Morro Bay.
